In this Personalized Drummaking Experience, Zinour guides you with expert instruction in making your own unique Siberian hand drum. He then teaches you how to drum and tap into your own rhythms (Everyone has them!).

Who is Zinour?

A Siberian born classically trained artist and ballet dancer, Zinour fell in love with the Arctic and her peoples during his ten years living in the Siberian Arctic as a Russian state employed artist. On one of his journeys, he met Gayle, a Canadian biologist volunteering on an expedition in Siberia. Despite not speaking each other's language, they fell in love and married a few months later. In their twenty years together, they and their two wonderful sons, have lived and adventured in Ontario and Nunavut and now make Alberta their home. Zinour has continued to divide his time between art, drummaking and dance and was named among the top 30 artists in Canada in 2009.
