Kicking Horse Mountain Resort opens for summer operations on Friday June 11th. As part of the opening weekend celebrations the mountain is partnering up with Golden to host a great weekend of fun on the mountain from June 11th – 13th. Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is excited to declare summer opening weekend, ‘Locals Appreciation Weekend’ and will be extending free access to the Golden Eagle Express for all residents who bring a food donation for the Golden Food Bank (valued at $10 or more) on Friday June 11th and Saturday June 12th.

Over the weekend, the Day Lodge will play host to the annual Rotary Club Silent Charity Auction. With a diverse selection of prizes ranging from toys to hardware and sporting goods to extravagant weekend getaways, it is well worth your while to browse and submit a bid on some of the items. All funds from the Silent Auction go directly to funding the Golden Rotary Club.
The Golden Farmers Market will be set up in the plaza on Saturday June 12th for the first of three farmers markets hosted on the mountain. Stroll through Kicking Horse Mountain Resort plaza and check out some work from local artisans and take advantage of some local produce.

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort will open 7 days a week

from June 25th to September 5th, and

will be open weekends (Fri – Sun) from June 11th to 20th and September 11th to 26th /10.

NEW THIS SUMMER:

- The Adventure Pass (Includes Grizzly Bear Refuge and Sightseeing Ticket) will be valid for two days, rather than one as in previous years. Thus guests can select their adventure on the day they choose.
- Lunch at Eagle’s Eye just got that much better. Purchase your Sightseeing pass to the alpine and receive a credit of $10.00 off your food bill (client must spend $20 or more per seating).
- We have introduced a Sight See Only and Grizzly Bear only product, giving greater variety in products offered to the guest.
- We have introduced Family Pricing on our Sight See, Grizzly Bear and Adventure Pass Products.
- We have introduced an Alpine Hiking and Sight See Season pass, starting @ $69.00 for an Adult, giving unlimited access all summer long.
